I graduated from Boğaziçi University’s Tourism and Hospitality Department in 1996 with a TÜRSAB Certification. My career began in the hospitality industry, where I worked in reservations at Hilton Hotel, served as a Food & Beverage manager at Divan Hotel, and later took on roles in Human Resources & Organization at Turkcell.
Throughout my career, I have chosen to embrace every experience and the people I have met as valuable lessons along my journey. Recognizing the vital role of entrepreneurial women in societal development, I first sought to understand my own value before striving to create new contributions to the world around me.
Science and technology, with their ability to simplify life, became my guiding compass.
Taking strategic steps in the digital world was one of the most valuable lessons I learned, leading me to focus on e-commerce. My efforts paid off when I became one of the top 20 start-up entrepreneurs selected by sanslikadin.com.
Cooking, sharing my culinary creations, and exploring different cuisines were passions that gradually transformed into my profession. As I delved deeper into the rich culinary heritage of Anatolia, my desire to bridge the past with the future and advocate for healthy eating grew stronger.
With my background in food and beverage management, I sought to integrate my skills into meaningful projects. Prioritizing education, I completed certifications in Healthy Kitchen Chef Training, Zero-Waste Kitchen, and Sustainable Cooking. Some of my academic achievements include courses from Stanford University in Food Sustainability, Mindful Eating, and Healthy Cooking Specialization and Sustainable Living 101 (Online).
Recognizing the value of opportunities that life presents, I continue my culinary journey, bringing my passion for food into your homes. Over the course of this journey:
• I hosted the TV show Özge Şahin ile Tatlı Tuzlu on TV 360 for 1.5 years.
• I later appeared on Show TV’s live program Ender Saraç ile Sağlıklı Günler.
• For four years, I shared my most special recipes on Çağla ile Yeni Bir Gün on FOX, collaborating with Prof. Dr. Osman Müftüoğlu to bring healthy recipes to viewers.
• I prepared sustainable and zero-waste recipes in the cooking segment of Prof. Dr. Murat Aksoy’s Hafta Sonu show on Star TV.
• I also partnered with Müge Boz to present zero-waste kitchen recipes to Star TV audiences.
• Currently, on Bein Gurme’s Atıksız Mutfak, I continue to share creative recipes and solutions that minimize food waste in the kitchen.
